In Maths this week, we have been exploring fractions. At first, we found the concept of equivalent fractions with different denominators a little tricky but we soon showed our school value of determination and wowed our teachers!
In English, we have completed our writing about War Horse and Joey’s terrible journey across the battlefield. Our writing has really developed this week and our teachers can see a huge improvement in the amount of year 6 writing skills and composition of our writing.
For intervention this week, we have enjoyed using our memory skills to match objects which rhyme. Our memory skills are improving hugely and our spelling is resultantly improving! This is helping with our phonological awareness. Mrs Lawton and Mrs Flaherty are so impressed!
