Talk for Writing
We used 'Talk for Writing' to retell our Treasure Book story, Whatever Next! We thought of pictures to draw for each part of the story and added actions to help us retell it in our own words.
Being a good friend
This morning we have been speaking about what makes a good friend and how we are all going to make sure we are a good friend today. Our ideas included asking someone to play with us, being kind to someone, smiling at a new friend and sharing when we are playing outside at lunch time.

Feelings and emotions

Making pictures using 2D shapes
We worked on our spatial reasoning by using 2D shapes to create a picture. We selected, rotated and manipulated shapes to ensure they were in the correct position and orientation when creating a desired image.
Making gingerbread men!
