Last week in Latin, we practised weaving which was an important part of Roman culture. Y6 really enjoyed this lesson and produced some amazing weaved patterns!

In Latin today we have learnt how to introduce ourselves! We were very interested to find out that if we were a girl our names would end in ‘a’ and if we were boys our name ended in ‘us’

We practiced using ‘sum’ to introduce ourselves, remembering that male names end in -us and female names in -a.
