Following on from last week’s superb Christmas Jingle gathering around the tree, we have had a wonderful week of performances from the Early Years and Key Stage 1 based upon the Nativity. Whoops-a-Daisy Angel (performed by Nursery and Reception) and The Inn-Spectors (performed by Year 1 and Year 2) certainly brought different parts of the Christmas story alive.
The children were absolutely superb throughout. We were so proud of them! They looked great in their costumes, confidently remembered and spoke their words, played their acting parts and sang all of the songs so beautifully. Amazing to see how far the children have developed through their studies to be able to create, alongside their teaching teams, this magical moment for us all. Especially impressive was the singing and solos from some of our youngest children; it was clearly evident that we have a significant amount of talent in our midst!
