Today is World Book Day and at Waterside we have celebrated Literature from different cultures using books from Lit in Colour. The children have been exposed to a range of different stories that represent people from different backgrounds. They have shared these with book buddies, practised reading aloud, studied characters and emersed themselves into the world of stories.
