Year 6 made salsa as part of our Global Foods topic in DT - lots of fun was had as you can see!
In our History topic (Islamic Civilisation) we learnt about Abd-al-Rahman and his mosque in Cordoba. We put him in our hot seat and asked him about his journey over!
Today, we analyzed Wilfred Owen’s poem, Dulce et Decorum est. We picked out examples of poetic techniques and discussed the language the poet used in order to show the hardships of war.
We have completed our fractions topic by finding fractions of amounts and finding the whole.
