This week in Science, we made a model of the human blood using different materials. We really enjoyed this lesson even though it was a little bit gross!

Last week in Maths, we learnt to round numbers up to 10,000,000. This was a tricky lesson that will require more work however we showed our determination and resilience to try our best with our learning!

Year 6 have been busy creating a model heart in our Science lessons this week. As part of our ‘Animals including Humans’ topic, we have shown how the heart pumps blood to other parts of the body using its thick, muscular walls and pressure within the arteries. 

This week, Y6 have started Forest Schools! Mrs Barker was really impressed with how well Y6 worked together to produce some lovely pieces of art using only natural resources! I’m sure you will agree that the work they produced was so creative and imaginative!
