The children have listened to 'The Colour Monster' this week as we have been learning all about our emotions. We sat in small groups for a short period of time listening to the story. At the end of the story we took part in discussions around the books, answering a range of questions. The children were using their newly taught vocabulary from the book and were able to answer most questions in relation to the story. For example: How does the colour monster feel? How do we know this? How would you feel?
We will continue to have lots of book talk in Nursery and focusing on answering a range of questions in relation to texts.
