Today our very creative FS children created some beautiful poppies for remembrance day. They enjoyed getting sticky with the glue and tissue paper and viewed a beautiful animated story about the war and what poppies represent.

Creative clay tiles
This week year 4 had the opportunity to create their very own clay tiles. We had a wonderful time discovering the process of how clay tiles are made. Some of us even went back to visit with our family later the same day. We were very proud of how year 4 represented waterside! Well done Year…

Today we were very lucky to get the chance to visit an art exhibition at the local church, the children saw a range of winning art pieces that had been inspired by things like whale bones and sound. The children were then very lucky because they got to create their own tile that had seeds mixed…
Forest School, conker rolling! ( After school club)
Storm Babet hit us this week making it a little wet and windy to go outdoors so instead we had a craft session. We used conkers to make patterns and leaves to create hedgehogs. We enjoyed rolling the conkers to make patterns, do you like them?
Jabberwocky illustrations
This week we have illustrated our jabberwocky poems using the medium of charcoal. We have thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with charcoal and have produced some fantastic pieces of art. Well done Year 4!
Charcoal Artists
Today we enjoyed using the charcoal to create 3D shapes and shadows. We drew the outline of the shapes and used smudging to create shading. We got very messy but we were so proud of the end results!
Autumn Leaves
Today we have created autumn leaves, we have used wax crayons to create a line drawing. Then using paint we have added colour creating a wax resistant leaves.
