Today we worked in groups to make number blocks! We recapped the numbers 0 and 1, and incorporated our new number 2. The children did super and they can all recognise numbers 0,1 and are recognising 2 with little support.

This week we have been learning all about our families. Who is in our family?

Story sequencing- whatever next!
The children used the pictures from the story Whatever next! to sequence the story from beginning to end. They used words like beginning, middle and end and characters. We really focused on the story and retelling it in our own words once we had sequenced it correctly.

Today in PE We have used the bats, balls and cones, we moved slowly, then fast, we played the traffic light game, making sure we were always looking and listening.

Being a good friend
This morning we have been speaking about what makes a good friend and how we are all going to make sure we are a good friend today. Our ideas included asking someone to play with us, being kind to someone, smiling at a new friend and sharing when we are playing outside at lunch time.
