We have practised a number of skills, including expanded noun phrases, to add further detail to our internal monologues. This is inspired by our class text, ‘Wonder’.
We showed our understanding of the four quadrants through a carousel of activities.
In Maths, we have consolidated our learning of ratio and proportion by applying this to recipe-based problems. Sharks really impressed us with their knowledge on this concept!
In History, we learnt about Tudor schools - the children were very grateful they weren’t educated back in those days!
In Geography, we learnt about the Indian Ocean and coastal habitats we would find here. We compared the coral reefs with sand dunes within the UK and discussed the hardships animals faced living in these areas from human involvement.
