This week we were introduced to a new role play area. The children recognised the logo straight away. “It’s Aldi”.
They have loved using the trolleys, baskets and different props to support their play. They have created narratives collaboratively and acting out their experiences. It has been lovely to hear their communication skills and key vocabulary being used.
This was a great opportunity to focus on healthy and unhealthy foods. The children have learnt about oral health and how foods impact our teeth. It’s important we are brushing our teeth everyday. We are enjoying drawing different foods we know and labelling our work with names.
