This week we have been learning about our emotions through the story ‘The Colour Monster’. We enjoyed reading the story and hearing about the different emotions we may feel. We talked about what things may make us feel a type of way and how we express our feelings. 

We have took part in lots of activities from creating different faces with loose parts, recapping what facial features we have

Sorting pictures into what we like and don’t like. It was great hearing the children talk about their emotions and what makes them feel this way.

We sang ‘if you’re happy and you know it’. We changed the lyrics to represent different feelings. ‘If you’re angry and you know it stomp your feet’. We explored happy, sad, angry, excited and scared. 
 

we had much more to do suck as threading, collaging, drawing and learning our new number 1.
