We loved free colouring today! We could choose to draw anything we wanted. Miss Mayer was super impressed with how many colours we knew and how we could communicate our interests. We looked at what hand the crayons felt comfortable in and how we correctly hold a pencil/crayon.

Our First Week in Reception
We had a wonderful first week in Reception! We enjoyed exploring our new environment, and had lots of fun both indoors and outdoors. We have also spent time getting to know each other, creating new friendships!
Freeze-frame fun
Today we had lots of fun role playing and freeze framing our new story of Little Red Riding Hood. The children all got into role and thought about the actions and behaviours of each of they characters.
Our fist week in Nursery
