Marble Run Bridges!
Take a look at these fantastic Marble Run Bridges Y6 made in DT this week! I was so impressed with how stable these structures were and how well the children had applied the joining methods to connect the 2 vertical towers to the bridge in the middle!
Edible Garden
Today we enjoyed visiting Nursery to begin our Edible Garden topic in DT. We observed parsley, rosemary, mint and thyme growing in the garden and enjoyed comparing their appearance and smells.

Counting Principles
We have recapped our counting skills.
I am super impressed with our progress and confidence when counting. The children’s determination to reach their goal is amazing. We counted regular and irregular arrangements in different contexts.
Plant Dissecting
This week in Science we dissected a plant and recapped on our prior knowledge of parts of a plant. We discussed in detail what the different functions where and had a discussion on what we thought was most important and why.
